9. 助動詞的使用錯誤
"be, been, being"出現的時候，後接的動詞不是原形，而是動詞的現在分詞或者過去分詞。

A country should be balance the budget each yaer.
A country should balance the budget each yaer.
注：2.4 有一些代詞"each"後面的謂語動詞一定是單數。

Teachers are always play an important role in formal education.
Teachers always play an important role in formal education.

9.2 參考上面表格，確保謂語動詞完整。
One of the benefits of traveling overseas learning how to cope with the unexpected.
One of the benefits of traveling overseas is learning how to cope with the unexpected.
這個話沒有謂語動詞，learning是現在分詞，不能構成完整的謂語動詞。
注：6.0 有些詞或者短語"one of"後面一般要加可數名詞的複數。
注：2.6  由"how"引起的主語從句中、謂語動詞常用單數。

9.3幾種時態的區別。雅思作文很少出現過去式。主要是現在時態和將來時態。

現在進行式：正在進進，還沒結束（暫時的情況）。
說話的時候動作正在進行
The builders are building a house.

一般現在式：重複的動作，或者所有時候的動作（永久的情況）。
說話的時候未必在進行這個動作
Builders build houses for others.

現在完成式：過去某個時間到現在所發生的動作（強調動作的結果）
說話的時候動作很可能已經結束（甚至早已結束）
She has read this book.

注：过去式 read 过去分词 read 现在分词 reading
這里read是过去分词！

現在完成進行式：強調過去發生的動作或行為；過去的動作和現在沒聯繫
說話的時候動作已經結束，和現在沒聯繫；而且這個動作是否現在還在繼續不得而知
She has been reading this book. （現在未必是老師）

一般過去式：強調過去發生的動作或行為；過去的動作和現在沒聯繫。
說話的時候動作已經結束，和現在沒有聯繫；而且這動作是否現在還在繼續不得而知
She was a teacher ten years ago.（現在未必是老師）

This incident reflected the decline of team sports in today's universities.
This incident has reflected the decline of team sports in today's universities.
如果是一般過去式，表示和現在已經沒有關係和影響。
現在完成式，強調結果和影響。
注：sport是可數名詞，這里用sports是泛指所有運動，複數不用加定冠詞。

9.4 很多充當時間狀語的副詞或者短語提示句子的時態。
During the last decade, there was much discussion and controversy over the impact of global economic integration.
During the last decade, there has been much discussion and controversy over the impact of global economic integration.
During the last decade，需要用現在完成時態，強調其結果和影響。
注：6.3 有一些詞或者位語"much"後面一般要加不可數名詞。
注：discussion and controversy同時是可數名詞和不可數名詞。

9.5 "has / have"有可能是助動詞，用於完成時態，也有可能是實義動詞，表示『有』。
Obesity has a problem to many Americans for decades.
Obesity has been a problem to many Americans for decades.
在這"has"是有的意思，肥胖有問題是不恰當。
注：6.0 有些詞或者短語"Many"後面一般要加可數名詞的複數
注：problem是可數名詞
problem to 发生于…的事故
